Norton Commando roadtrip film 2010

Looks like you had a good trip. When I invited you to stop by in Pueblo Co I had though you were leaving Salina KS instead of Salinas Ca. which meant you would be coming through here. Guess I should have put my glasses on.
Your vidio has me pumped up about my next weeks trip to LOP in Texas. Jim

Lovely bike and good splicing audio and views to me, thanks. The back ground banter mostly focusing on selecting sites to fetter on the road, again, is not lost on me. I should follow your lead on the claiming or activating music durring the tasks.

Thanks for the kind words. I have this idea that nobody..even me...can be upset while listening to Hawaiian music. So as a joke to myself whenever I found myself doing the roadside shuffle I put on some island music.

As for the cool exhaust sound I almost fell out of my chair when I heard it. My daughter was just filming with a little vidcam but it sure sounds good. The sound I hear the most is top end valve train action since I am right there. I had no idea my bike sounded like that. Funny huh?

Yes Commando riders miss a lot of the impressing they are making for others. Took me awhile to hear mine or another one I wasn't on - to get idea why my new cycling friend out hear would say they knew it was my Norton a couple miles away just rolling with traffic. Your daughter caught the sound about best I've heard. I like the easy no strain no hurt deep soft barks normal throttled Commandos sound more than the WOT in the long run, but a little of the loud stuff is kool too.

I finally got to see what make the Norton head ringing bat calling sounds, its the strike of the rock on valve stem making the Whole head ring like a bell! It only takes a very light rocker motion to ting a ring, Nothing I tired to muffle by hard touch, valve stem, spring, rocker arm or areas around head itself made any difference to the clear ring.
