Hi Mike,
model 77 was a Matchless frame or a Norton pre fratherbed?.

From memory both P11 and N15 had Matchless frames. Norton Atlas , Mamxman , 650SS and all 600cc and 500cc Dominators back to the mid-50s had Featherbed frames, the earlier ones were wideline.
 
The Nomad had nothing to do with the P11 or with Matchless frames or with featherbeds...

Model 77, as Mike sez above = a later version of the so-called Norton single downtube 'pre-featherbed' swingarm frames
