I rather like my new bars. Going from standard US to lower makes it seem so "cafe" well...old man cafe.

Nice work on the bars. I love the US Bars tho they're very comfortable.
Who signed the Arai? Anyone famous?

I like the 'Home' bars, they look good, but I wasn't sure my OM back could take it. I got some 'Export' bars from Walridge and they are still somewhat shorter rise than my originals. I've been very sore last 2 days from riding and kicking when it wouldn't start, and not that much either, must be my age. At least it's starting again.

Hmmm, a distraction in the workshop... Go back a check all nuts and bolts.
And thank God, that you weren't doing a 100 clicks down the highway when you spotted her in your mirror. Quite dangerous.

Speirmoor, Please tell me the helmet is not the only thing you saw.

Napoleon mirrors, used them for the first time today & really liked them. SuperBike bars, forget the name, I'll look it up tomorrow. I thought perhaps the helmet was reaching the end of it's life, so I wore it on a trip from Dallas to New York City & back last summer. I took a sharpie marker & invited everyday interesting folks along the way to sign it. I did get a dude in Bowling Green named Duncan Hines. There was a guy in Hershey PA who holds the Guiness World Record for the most roller coasters ridden in 24 hours. Then of course there is Rick Fairless & some chick named Debbe, & the world famous Johnny Sargent.

Also, the US bars were bent, left side much closer to me. After changing out, it seemed as though the left side was much farther away. What a fun bike.

Problem with those bars is the front brake master cylinder fits in only one position. I have a set of Magura bars with BMW R90S bend that look the same as your low bars. You will need some rear sets to go with these. I'm on the other side of the fence...prefer the comfortable US bend and upright riding position.

I'm still suffering from my 15 mile run with my 'Export' bars, but that's my age kicking in and the ign. switch not working the other day. Hoping it'll get better, especially when I get the EI.

Thank god, I though I was the only one who noticed the ammo box.

By the way, you never did tell us who the dead guy is in your avatar.
