Unreal what's being developed. Blew through the old record by over 35mph.
Not sure where it all ends......

Wow.

Of all the points of interest to read there, the one that got me most was the fact it makes 400bhp MORE on E85 compared to 91 octane...

And y’all complain about ethanol !

However fast you can go, that is the speed at which you must be prepared to crash. That is the reason I don't race modern motorcycles. In any form of racing, speed is only relative. So why race in classes where the speeds are excessive ? In most race classes you all reach the limit almost together.
I could race a modern bike and be happy doing it. However there is always a point at which uncertainty becomes a certainty.

Sorry acotrel, no you couldn't- the modern bikes go like rocket ships, I doubt even your old bones would heal should you fall off

Put another way-it's just as much fun to push an old bike to it's limits than it is to ride a modern one at less than limits because you can't/don't want to.

Oh, BTW, the real Tuatara is a NZ lizard.
