Thanks for the input. There seem to be quite a few of them for sale here (UK) with rather low miles which MIGHT indicate a similar viewpoint - or a "not what I expected/hoped." I would like to have a Commando here but I am not interested in shipping mine from the US and I really don't have the facilities to work on a bike here as I do in the US so a Commando - even if I found a decent one at a decent price probably isn't workable. So I'm liking the retro bikes for here in the UK and currently have a Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe. It's really an excellent machine but I'd rather have a vertical twin. Never been a Triumph fan but that's an option, of course...
