SgtUSAF80 , seat looks well , worth putting it up there.

I got the pillion seat aswell as the hump (seat hump that is) also has Norton on it

Sorry Sgt USAF80, missed your question. Love the seat, it looks awesome.

I have been pondering getting this done and in particular, the colour of the embroidery. You went for matching gold - great choice.

Thanks again.

Piper:

Whereabouts in Lancs? I was born and brought up in Leyland. Family had an ironmongeryshop and a petrol station in town. Did an engineering apprenticeship with English Electric (later British Aircraft) at Warton, starting in early 1958. I quit after the apprenticeship finished, as the TSR-2 cancellation had decimated the place. I had two other jobs in UK, second one with Norton- Villers in Wolverhampton.

Finally, I decided to follow many BAC friends and signed on with Boeing, emigrating in mid-1968. I took early retirement in 1998 and moved to a very pleasant small seaside town, Anacortes, which is about 50 straight-line miles from the Canadian border. Climate is a lot like Devon/Cornwall and we're across the street from a salt-water marina. I'll be leaving here in a wooden overcoat, I hope.

Thanks for the compliment. I was fortunate to find a small, family run embroidery shop and was able to work with them in every step of the process. The end result exceeded my expectations. It really does add a little extra to an already beautiful machine!
