went round the norton factory on fri spoke with the great man and saw the first one on the stand ready to go .
the whole set up is very impressive when i left their was going to be a photo shoot for MCN for this weds he promised me
mine before 20/04/10 ( my birthday ) and having seen the set up have no reason at all to doubt him .
its the real deal Norton are back i couldnt stop looking at them true works of art.
stuart was very informative, a smart cookie ( as you americans say ) and it was as a norton fan the highlight of the year .
 
Would be cool to go see someday... only neat factory I've been to is martin guitars
 
There was an update under the News section on the Norton website dated March 17th, including the following;

"• Have there been any bikes been produced yet?
Yes, we have produced bikes but not released any to customers yet as we are waiting for our warranty testing to complete, the first bike was made and registered in December 2009."

Lets hope the testing is going well, oh to be the test rider.
 
I was looking at a new Norton at the Clubman show in San Jose CA. It looked much better in person than in the photos. My camera had died by then, I wish I had taken photos.
I'm glad they don't have those in a local dealership as it might be hard to keep my Visa in my pocket.
 
Is anyone planning to by several and keep them in their crates for 35 years just to see what they are worth in 2045? :shock:
