The stock tail tidy on the Dominator imho doesn't do the bike any favours in the looks department. Presumably it's there to met some EU rule. Although there's not a lot of room under the tail to mount a legally sized (and positioned) number plate, lights and reflector without running into issues with clearing the tyre.

I quite liked what fellow Domi owner Dallas Norton had done with his in this post http://www.accessnorton.com/dominator-non-t24932-15.html#p331568 Although I had concerns as to how long the glue would last particulary with the weather in this part of the world. So I had a custom mount manufactured that would keep the bike completely legal but also clean up and improve the look of the bike.

Plenty bright at night.

I used led number plate bolts to secure and illuminate the plate.

It's a pity you can't use the adhesive number plates " E-Types and Minis " that would really tidy the back up.

Jg

Some do of course and over here the e-type stickers are illegal. I ran with something similar for a few years on the Lotus but eventually got tired of the inconvenience of getting pulled over from time to time.

Raphi, indicators are part of the led strip. Have a look at the short vid in my first post. You can see the flash in this pic.

Hi Ian Looks good. I also used the LED number plate bolts/lights. Twice. The number plate vibrate so much that it destroyed two sets.

Clear example of getting what you pay for. I on the other hand spent close to 10 pounds on mine! :D

It'll be interesting to see if I experience the same thing. The mount itself is rock solid, you could tow a trailer with it.

The stock tail tidy damages the bikes overall aesthetics.
The MYLOL solution is truly minimalist, and looks Bitchin'!

Good work.

Bike looks great. Totally understand your struggle with plate. I hated it so much I don't have one.

How are those pipes?

I didn't realise the land of the free was quite that free! Pipes sound great really happy with the way they turned out.
