I may have them in stock....but failing that, I've also got the original jigs and stock to produce new ones.Have given that thought before FE, but they might take a bit of butchering to remove the redundant sections. Not sure how easy that would be to patch, clean up and return to original standard finish.
Not sure about strength either - ya know, when some old knacker stands up on the pegs to stretch his old hips off!! Don’t think that would be transferred to the rear of the frame though. Can’t see there being spares around - not possible to convert single to double - worth trying though.
It’s been a third-order thing for me - did’nt bother me that much. Just about to convert to a single seater though so looking to clean that derrière up. Probably get the guys looking at mounting the Thruxton fairing to sort it out, if/when I pull the pin.
Good to know Stu - thanks.I may have them in stock....but failing that, I've also got the original jigs and stock to produce new ones.

Oh they're still painful ! We can restore the bike, pity we can't restore our bodies.. I was 28 when I bought the MHR, in my 60's now.Yes.
A ‘cheat’ to make ‘em less painful !
You’ve got other bikes for comfort. And most probably a nice family car as well?!Oh they're still painful ! We can restore the bike, pity we can't restore our bodies.. I was 28 when I bought the MHR, in my 60's now.
Yep got a dozen bikes and a car too, though I don't have all of those bikes running and on the road at the same time.
Here's a recent overview, not all of them but most
