Neville Higgins on a Vincent chopper

Not every day you see Vincent rider Mr Neville Higgins on a chopper during the Scandinavian Vincent Club rally. But of course it is a Vincent! He is 83 years old so not so much riding these days. He did bring The Heap and Jindivik.

Lock up your daughters, the Prof is on a tear again!

I recall that at the dinner before the Vincent IOM lap in 2007 , Neville got on stage to address the 300 or so attendees.
He spent quite a while describing a Norwegian Rally his section was planning. He gave it a really big build up and made it all sound quite wonderful, then asked how many would be interested in participating.
At least two hundred hands shot up!
Neville was speechless and looked overwhelmed or possibly disappointed.

He then explained with words to the effect " We are all getting older and can't do as much, we were hoping for nice small rally, maybe not such a big one. Oh dear, what are we going to do?"

It was a quite comical, his sales pitch was actually too effective for the plans! :mrgreen:
