I know that this is probably useless, unrelated info, but if you look at pics of the later P11, you will see that many of them have straight rear hoops while a few are bent upwards.  On my own I used a reproduction hoop and bent it upwards on purpose to fit the rear fender/swingarm/rear wheel I used.
