N15 Center Stand Spring Location

can Antonella’s post a picture to show where the hook end of the center stand spring locates? I believe that the long end rests against the stand criss bar but I’m lost as to where the hook end resides. Thanks.

I have sold my N15 so no picture. But, on the left engine plate there is a hole not quite 1/4" in dia. The hook portion of the spring goes there. You are right in that the long arm of the spring pushes against the center stand cross bar. It is a wrestling match to install as you have to wind up the spring 1 turn so that the tension on the spring keeps the stand up.

Yes.
The hook of the center stand springs goes into the hole that is on the gearbox/engine plates.
Mine has the same hole both plates.
