I decided that with the Roadster tank/seat the footrests were a bit too far forwards for comfort. Full rearsets would be about right for the Interstate set up.
I cut down a pair of rusty old footrest bars and milled flats at the front ends, then drilled through to accept M6 bolts.
Laser cut stainless plates sandwich the bars and provide the location for the pegs. This gives the opportunity to adjust the position by fitting different plates.
I still have to make the spacers between the plates where the pegs locate and design a gear lever.
Total rearward relocation is 75mm
