mount this tire?

I wonder if the Union Jack logo will be replaced by the German flag? It makes me think that in another twenty or so years there will be sod all manufacturing left in Britain.
20 years? You really are an optimist!

I'm 70, I'm not that fussed, it's rather hypothetical and won't impact me! (selfish I know, not that fussed about that either šŸ˜‡)

That's the first time I've ever been called an optimist, however I think you might be right. In the sixty odd years I've been around I've witnessed the demise of manufacturing in this country. When I was growing up most of the cars, motorcycles, lorries & vans were British makes, as were the machine tools on which the parts for them were made. All the stuff in my parents house from carpets to cutlery were made here. Some people think it doesn't matter but I think it is just a lack of pride in this country.

Same in our house Martyn, all British. I wish it still was .
Although I'm quite partial to American V8s.

Also lack of investment and foresight by corporate institutions. Letā€™s sell everything off and end up as a service country šŸ¤¬
