Hi

Thought I would share some good news on the racing front. Ellis made me some gears for the 4 speed Quaife that we broke last season.
Fortunately I found an inner cover that will allow us to scap the kickstart shaft. Just need to get the layshaft ground down :D

All the best Chris

Chris - that is good to know. Can you reveal how much it cost for each of the gears?

Dave

Hi Dave

Ellis did a pair of gears for my K4 racebike for £140 . Triumph mainshaft with Commando clutch splines £160.
However he now has some longroadholder sliders for his off roader :D :D

If you e mail him & have a pattern he will give you a quick reply. He is mega busy.
I gave his name to Buff Harsh in America & Ellis does his close 1st & 5th gears.

Thanks for that Chris, that is reasonable considering they are one-offs and new Quaife spares for these old 'boxes are now unobtainable, apparently.
