It would be interesting to know how much trail PW put on the steering of the Monocoque. Tom Arter's 'Wagon Wheels' might have been his starting point. The photo is this article shows the top yoke on the Monocoque. There seems to be very little offset : Much less than is used on the Commando. :

The trouble is, it all takes money to do that. I was just lucky with my bike. I tried something and it worked - arse beats class ?Yep, and Peter did alter the head angle a few times too
