MKIII swingarm won't fit

I just installed new bushes and seals on my MKIII swing arm. No paint on the swing arm where the seals fit and the bushes were drifted firmly home. When presenting the swing arm to the cradle....it's too tight and I can't get the swing arm on the cradle. Do I need to file the bushes down? Has anyone gone through this?

Any suggestions are most appreciated.

too tight by how much? perhaps the cradle is "sprung" a bit, so to speak. Might be able to "flex" it apart with a sicissor jack from a small car etc...enough to install the swing arm.

Did you compare the new bushings to the old ones? Perhaps the outer flanges are thicker on the replacement parts?

Problem resolved. Seated the bushes a bit more firmly to further compress the seals which was enough to get it started over the cradle. A 2x4 against the end of the swing arm allowed me to tap into place.
