Hi, I think I left out a little spacer that goes underneath the washer and locknut that secures the plastic bowl to the MK3 rear brake master cylinder. Is there an exploded drawing that shows the assembly?

A Triumph drawing, but the distance piece [17] is the same.
If you remove the nut and washer the distance piece should drop in.

Thanks, I could not find such a drawing! I'll try to getr done without too much oil leakage!

Got it, the bowl needed to come off to line everything up, a little messy but oh well, thanks! I suppose the little spacer is there to keep from over tightening the nut and breaking the plastic bowl .

Jimbo, read this as you reassemble the rear m/c it doesn't just screw together, it a little more complicated then that but not at all difficult. Even after I followed these instructions I needed to unscrew it one more turn.

I went through the same thing with my other one so I just measured it to get the cylinder screwin adjustment right. No bind and a good release so far
