Does a pressurized crankcase make any sense? If the answer is no, you are on the right track. The XS 650 PCV valve works very well on a Norton Commando. As for the quality of a rebuild, I'd venture to say that any Norton without a proper crankcase ventilation system WILL leak, eventually. The crankshaft seal is especially vulnerable to leaking from a pressurized crankcase.
