Here are the preliminary results from MCT big port head conversion : RWHP 80.10

As you can see the High RPM Power has gone up considerably . I richened up the entire fuel map with an ECU change while I experiment . Once the map is cleaned up everything will jump up to the 13 to 1 level. But for now it will stay at this richer level .

This was only a Dyno Pull not a tuning job.

I posted this earlier , so here it is again . The difference between a MCT and a Norton 961 Head : Measured in mm along the port ID at 5 points. The biggest changes are in the bowls. I am very happy with this outcome so far.

@TonyA impressive outcome - and great work for seeing it through. Do you have a comparison pre and post your airbox removal? Do you think you'd get the same results if you hadn't changed the airbox?

I would not be inclined to think so , but I don’t know. I have never gone back to the airbox.

That’s very good work.
Personally, I’m rarely revving mine much above 5,500 rpm, so I’d probably feel happier with the standard tune. But, that’s just me.
It nice to know the motor has more potential, though.
