Can anyone advise if there is check ball in the Mark lll rear master brake cylinder?

There's a check "valve" but there's no "ball". However the check valve should not completely shut off the return flow of fluid back to the master cylinder.
 
It seems I have lost the spacer that goes on the stud that attaches the reservoir to the cylinder body.

Does anyone have a spare? Or, can someone tell me the part number? My parts list for the Mark lll does not give detail on the rear cylinder. It would also be helpful to suggest a supplier?
