I’m surprised to hear this, I think they’ve been a good seller for Don. (and a worthwhile modification).

That mechanism goes a long way towards improving and synchronizing my carbs.
Hope you find one.

Did Don tell you he's not making them - they are still listed on his web site.

I emailed Don yesterday and he told me that he wasn't making anymore. That's why I thought I'd ask here and see if someone had a spare. I really like the one I have.

If he's not making any more then it shouldn't be too difficult to reverse- engineer, especially if you already have one.

I have one that I purchased some years ago but turned out it wouldn't fit under my Fastback tank so it's never been "used" though it was mounted once...until I tried to fit the tank. I'm out of the country and won't be back until mid November but if you still want one/haven't found one by then, send me PM.

I asked in June or July if I could buy a couple of spare cables for the slides as they are the only cables I don’t have as a carried spare. I was then accused of inferring they were substandard or something like that. He also said the kits weren’t worth making for what he sold them for. Shame really as they are very good. I’ve not had to change any settings in 25,000 miles, although I have changed the main cable as a matter of course. I did reply explaining I wasn’t saying they were substandard cables but just wanted a spare couple and to charge more for the kits then! I didn’t get a reply although he’s probably still remembering I had a moan about a shit bearing that failed in my Cush drive brake hub after 13,000 miles.
