Looking to buy a 961 sport

Not too much trouble to turn it into a Sport right ?
I’m curious why specifically a sport? The SF is the same riding position with better options like the carbon and usd forks.

Are you specifically wanting a Sport only?

Thats my preference a 961 Sport..

Could anyone tell me the difference in the Sport, The SE and the Cafe? I cant seem to find much talk about each model difference.

I notice that the Sport has a hidden 2-up seat, meaning the seat can covert to a 2 person seat when the back seat bubble is removed. And it looks like the pegs are more forward on the Sport than the Cafe. Which I prefer. Im open to any sales listings though, as finding a White Sport model, may prove difficult.

I appreciate all the help, guys.

The hidden two up seat is common to all models after a certain time. Before that it was an option on all models (of Commando, NOT Dominator).

The only difference between a cafe racer and a sport is the handle bars and brake / clutch master cylinders. And associated necessities like hoses and top yoke etc.

Hence what Voodoo said...

As above, there really wasn't a lot of differences between the various commando models. Look for the giveaway break in the rear hump to see if it is a 2-up or not, and the rear exhaust mount frames with a passenger footpeg mount. Riders peg position were all the same, h/bars, controls/cables, chrome/painted/carbon parts, polished/black alloy casings, gold/black/polished/upside down forks, wire/carbon wheels, long/short silencers are the most noticeable differences between the models, and some of the 'limited editions', but then again most of these differences were also factory 'options' so pretty much every bike made was a limited edition in some form. The changes that were probably more important were to the ecu and engine components/sensors but the factory didn't reveal a lot when/how/why they made these changes except perhaps to label newer bikes as 'Mk2', but even then there appear to have been differences between one Mk2 and another.

Curtis,
The Lemon Law Bike was a 2014 CR.
I heard the new owners of GC sold it in a consignment of several bikes to another dealer.
The 961 currently at GC is a 2017 CR, so must be a MKII.
It's listed on their website as a New motorcycle, not part of their previously owned inventory.
Come to think of it, you are right. I was there and asked about it I guess in 17. They were not dealing in Nortons anymore. They ordered it. It arrived, they guy didn't want it.
