What's stopping you from registering your own e bay address onto a snipe service in the UK?

The snipe service even if in the UK does not change where you live on your eBay profile, if the seller only accepts bid from UK the snipe will fail.

You maybe right. I have an American one that will adjust to the different time zones. I would suggest you put in a lower bid first, before the end of the auction, then check if it's gone through. Then put in your higher bid.

I've had this problem. The fix is to put a local shipping address on your ebay account and make it the primary address, problem sorted
