Ok, Do I have these FRIGGEN clips in right?

Is the two (2) prong thing next to the clip for grounding and is on right?

If it is for grounding, is it as usless as it appears?

Has anyone ever done physical harm to a Lucas engineer?

What is the current prison sentence for doing physical harm to a Lucas engineer in the UK?

Yes.

Here's an old "how to fit a clip" video I made a while ago, sorry it's a bit blurred:

If I can manage to do it one handed, whilst filming with the other hand then it can't be that difficult?

No. The two prongs should be bent upwards so they locate either side of the raised "strap" on the reflector, which sets the reflector at the correct vertical position within the rim (and presumably prevents the reflector rotating due to any vibration?).

Thanks.....

If I use the strap, the lens will be about 2 - 3 degrees off center. Do I really need the clip?

You didn't answer all my questions.

Probably not, although you could try bending the prongs sideways until the lens sits vertically?

Probably...If you can find one?

I'm not sure that is a crime in the UK?

How do I know you didn't use trick photography in that video?

I required two hands, my lap, those "bent" needle nose pliers, patience (which is in short supply with me), and some luck.
