Regarding this bushing for a 1974 Commando,
Bush, Kickstart, Inner Cover 04-0473
Is this bushing supposed to fit tightly in the inner cover? Mine floats and turns freely (wobbles a bit.) That does not seem right.
Just seems odd to me that this is a bushing, the mainshaft is supported both ends by ball/roller bearings, as is the drive side of the layshaft. Or am I missing something?
