Larger Roadster Tank

There was some talk a while back of making a larger roadster tank . Did any thing come of it ?

Evan wilcox has been making them a bit larger for a few years - but their hand made so a bit $$ (but beautiful)

A bit of a side track here, does anyone have dimensions of the modified roadster tank for the JPN or maybe some pictures of one on the frame with the tank shroud off?

I have (somewhere) a pic of a bare JPN cafe tank - a stretched/longer roadster tank - might take some finding though.
Its 'just' a roadster tank thats about 3 inches approx, or about one gallon, longer.
Looked like someone cut 2 roadster tanks not quite in half each, and welded the 2 longer 'halves' together.
No idea what they looked like underneath, or how it sits on the bike.
Looked like an Interstate seat might fit up to it OK - and the JPN seat of course, mit fibreglass cover over the tank.

Um, how about a long range tank?

Maybe to do with riding position. I find with the Interstate tank that I'm stretched out with my arms and feet too far forward and my butt too far back. But that's better than only having a 2-and-a-bit gallon tank. I've been wondering if you could get larger tanks that would fit a roadster seat.
