Yves, I’m so pleased to hear your progress friend, it must feel SO good after being constrained for so long!

Listen to your doctors though mate, don’t put yourself backwards by trying to go forwards !

(I sent you a pm by the way).

Fantastic News Yves !!! However.... Please .... Not too much, too soon. It could lead to a set back. - - - Gosh,, , , I sound like my Dad or something.... Sorry,, I'm super happy for you buddy. I wish I could buy some of your parts but I'm in the poor house right now. CJ

Yves,
Excellent news. Glad to hear you are making progress on both yourself and your bike.

Hi there,
What a fantastic day yesterday, I WALK AND CAN STAY ON MY TWO LEGS, walking with a rollator and standing W/O help!
Yesterday I decide to go with my friend Mika to strip the werck from the Seeley, but my Dear Marina decide to go shopping and there for she need the weelchair.
So I take the rollator and discover that I was abel to walk on my two legs W/O pains, more, once around the Seeley, I was abel to stand-up W/O the rollator and work four hours.
This mean maybe nothing to you, but to me it means a lot.
At a moment I try to put my leg over the bike, only one inch more and I will sit on the bike and ride.
To day I am back in the weelchair becouse the doctors says not to do this stunts at the moment.
I still don't recive the money from the insurance.
I have sale some remains from the Seeley.
I feel good man, I feel good!!
Yves
That is excellent news Yves but please take it easy
I understand how frustrating it can be but slow and steady recovery is better than over doing it and putting yourself back 10 paces
Cheers

Hi There,
Jagbruno and myself are just back from a two days trip to a beautiful Mediterranean location, I won’t say more at this point as I still wish to keep my new bike under wraps, some of you might guess wich one it is, but I will not make it official before this beauty will is in my workshop.
The present owner of the bike gave us a fantastic welcome, I wish to thank him and and his lovely wife for the great time we spent together in there beautiful home.
A lot of thanks to Bruno, who pushed my weelchair for two days and made a short test ride with the bike. A test ride he will never forget...
What can I say about the bike: It’s a Seeley with a perfectly tuned engine, built by one of the best Norton specialist in the world, I won’t say more for now...
I am still in the unknown about my broken hip, this two days trip did make me very happy but unfortunately very tired as well.
Next monday to the doctor for more news, good ones I hope...
I have posted some bits from my former bike within the ‘for sale’ section of the forum, good deals to do.

I will keep you posted...
Yves

I think I know which drop dead gorgeous Seeley you have, a beautifully photographed bike, my favourite pin up, built by a cool Nortoneer.
Be nice to see it in Holland this year if you are healing OK and can be at Kampen.

If you or Jagbruno are too busy to use it I would be happy to take time off work and ride it all over the best Norton roads in Europe for you. I will pay for petrol, road tax, tyres and keep it in new condition.
No need to pay me, I will do it for nothing but a daily supply of croissants and coffee...
Be patient with that hip and get well soon.
