I miss my T 160 street racer
Had to sell it to stay out of jail.

Definitely good news Yves!! I urge you to take it easy with regards to your banged up leg. I say this because, when I wrecked my Yamaha dirt bike back in the day, and broke my collar bone, the Dr. Said that it was a "good" break because it would heal together nicely. I wore the brace for the 6 weeks that they prescribed, at which time the Dr. pronounced it 100%. So, I asked if I could do everything now and he said yes.... so I immediately began sleeping on that side again since it was my preferred side. Well, it wasn't really 100% and it moved and now I have a shoulder rotator cuff problem that is becoming worse as I get older (56 now). Anyway glad to hear of your recovery and the insurance settlement. Cj

The absolute worst smoker I ever had was an Ariel Leader, a 1962 model, I think. It was a 250cc two stroke parallel twin. I bought it used, but the machine hadn't been on the market very long. On high throttle settings on calm days, it would leave a blue smoke trail easily a quarter mile long. I was running it according to the owner's manual, on a 16:1 gas/oil mix.

I wrote in to Ariel asking whether the mufflers had any aluminum parts inside, as I was planning to clean both mufflers with caustic soda to get the oil out. I got a message back to say "go ahead, there's no aluminum parts inside. Based on endurance testing, we're now recommending a gas/oil ratio of 48:1 on regular engine oil and 56:1 on special two-stroke oil. This will greatly diminish the smoke problem." They were correct! It didn't completely go away, but it was much less obtrusive. Vehicles going the other way weren't switching their headlights on any more.

Hi There,
Four months after the accident and still in the weelchair, four months that I have pains in my knee, and everyday worster, four months that I say to the dokters "please take X rays or a scan from my knee" finaly they did it to day, and you know what? They discover some cristals in my knee, I dont know if cristal is the good word, but they give me a injection with cortisone in my knee, this did such a pain, this kind of tortutre must be used by the gestapo!
But this evening, no pain anymore in my knee.
When the dokter explain it to me, it was so difficult to understand to me as a post from Hobot, the cristal are probably coming from the infections produced by the woundes on my knee, but four months of pain becouse the docters don't want to believe me and always says "the pain is coming from your hip and come down to your knee" normaly I will kill someone for sutch a mistake...

Insurance companies are never in a hurry unless they are taking money!!!

Yep, they certainly let you know when they need a few quid spent on em :)
sam
No, they always need more as a few quid spend on em, good or bad results.
You know that in China you must pay your Doctor when you are in good shape, not when you are hill, this must be the good system...

Hi there,
What a fantastic day yesterday, I WALK AND CAN STAY ON MY TWO LEGS, walking with a rollator and standing W/O help!
Yesterday I decide to go with my friend Mika to strip the werck from the Seeley, but my Dear Marina decide to go shopping and there for she need the weelchair.
So I take the rollator and discover that I was abel to walk on my two legs W/O pains, more, once around the Seeley, I was abel to stand-up W/O the rollator and work four hours.
This mean maybe nothing to you, but to me it means a lot.
At a moment I try to put my leg over the bike, only one inch more and I will sit on the bike and ride.
To day I am back in the weelchair becouse the doctors says not to do this stunts at the moment.
I still don't recive the money from the insurance.
I have sale some remains from the Seeley.
I feel good man, I feel good!!
Yves
