Well plain Jane Trixie is serving one of her purposes, to compare with Ms Peel.
To me Cdo smoothness is the primary feature and Ms Peel is my benchmark of null Neutral pilot sensation and secure handling.

First trip out on Trixie gave hi freq sharp edged vibration that got worse with rpm not better. I suspected head steady in a bind and it was so brute force and shimmed so rubber unstrained.

Second trip found above took away the sharp edge buzz to more a soft edged hum. There was still some engine like vibration in the pegs, not bad to annoy but definitely there and not so much in the grips.

Third trip out still feeling vibration but not going away with rpm, discovered the deep groove dual thread tire was at least half flat so pumped it up semi hard and was very pleased to feel Trixie back in the zone I'd expect a Cdo to be, still away of engine vibes if grip held lightly but hardly none if squeezed. Also was out dark enough to do the head lights in mirror measure. Clutch in coasting w/o power but still reving engine gave a small focused spot while engaging engine under throttle gave a diagonal mostly vertical skewing about 2 head light diameters, so not much. Ain't checked diaganosis summary to interpret yet.

4th ride toady on hard rear was nice and comfortable with new awareness of tire texture sensed as if part of engine vibes. Played a bit with cornering to find I didn't need to do much of that to feel how unsure and jelly like the whole craft felt. Then pulled off hwy on tertiary pavement at 50 mph into straight section feeling fine *rear blew! flat in .5 sec and sense of real engine vibes spiked as tire collapsed then greatly softened out as tire settled on rim and threatened to lead the way. Freaked at last blow out deriming almost hi side as first notice, nothing happened as I now hassle with rim locks for rare out of the blues. This happened on straight section of secondary, er tertiary pavement yet was definitely more smooth than on fine hwy just prior. Weird but revealing in opposite way to feeling air borne vibe suddenly onset and stop on landing.

The dual thread groove tire was Peels ole 120 I taunted and hunted down squids in tights with yet feels like jogging in work boots on Trixie. I have a new real street tire waiting to put on so will see how that feels before I mess with iso gaps.

Moral of the tale is how much the road-tire interface or lack feeds back in isolastics when just going straight and steady. Main significance to me on Peel is I think its more evidence of the power pulse hook up I get on Peel but not regular Cdo. Trixie is dangerous to go much over sane posted limits but I sense she will soon be rather smoother to use as daily commuter errand runner and ice breaker.
