Ok , there is more but not bad news . Did you change the rear hub also Cliffa ?  When switching to a cast rear hub you must have the proper spacer between the sprocket carrier and the r/h side of the hub.  Please look at this : machined (Talon) rear hub is flush with the face .



The cast hub bearing is recessed from the face and has correspondingly shorter internal hub spacer .


Lucky for me I had the correct spacer from when I ordered my spare sprocket carrier from Birmingham Norton which they included .

 As you can imagine you need the correct (longer) spacer.
