I changed the complete wheel as the spokes seemed larger as well.Mk 1 discs are not a straight forward fit to the new hubs.Machining is required (disc mounting holes do not line up) also you have to check the brake pad wear marking (foot print)on the Mk1s disccompared to the new radial brake pad wear marking (foot print)new type disc.it seems there are some very small but important differences betweenthe Mk1 and new bikes.
