Hi David, I'll email you a few pictures, your rh side over didn't have the recess for the oil cap , I think you would still be able to put it on and off as is, or if you want it would be possible to cut it out without damaging the paint, cheers pete
But I always remove the side cover for filling up the oil tank. Despiet the cutout ist is easier that way.
My filler cap is not leakproof. Advantage: Your tools in the side pocket never rust!
Yeah, mine leaks too, but I don't turn it past where it's tightest, it seems to help. New gasket too. Was thinking about trying a rubber one. Not thrilled with the cork ones. And yes, that cut out is hardly usable. I mostly leave the side cover off until I'm ready to ride 'cause I always check the flow when I start it.
