Idle Set Procedure for 961 SCS ECU

Tony, I suspect this will not work (well it will but your idle when hot will be very high), unless you remove the idle air motor. Stay safe.

How do you like your Delta 400 ?

Love the freedom of being able to do whatever I want with the engine without the ECU getting in the way. But haven't needed to touch it in months - was planning on doing a final dyno tuning session during the summer but never got round to it. Bike is in lockdown now along with its owner!

Hi,
I used this procedure last week. And I must say it really worked out fine. Idle is nice and stable now. Attached a graph from the software how the bike responded after a hot start.

Stay healthy,
Sjoerd

Do you have the original SC Typoon ECU or the SCS Delta 400 ECU ?

Hi TonyA,
I have followed the SCS above recommendation and on the last page when I blocked the Hose to the IACV the engine stalled. This tells me the IACV is faulty. I know the valve is from LOWE however does anyone know the part number to replace it! I want to put an ohms meter on the wire harness to be sure the ECU is working OK.
Bill

Richard-7 and David may have sourced a replacement , you can PM Richard. I have not sourced one yet . But may I ask is your idle working otherwise ? You have gone through the procedure and got the readings within 3% and and how does it idle now ?
