Ok, hate is a strong word. Let's just say i wish they'd list country of origin.

I assume if it says it's "Genuine" i can take their word for it ;)

Anyone can sell their products through Amazon, its up to the person who buys from them to do their home work and can normally find out where the product comes from or where its made.

Country of origin is not published on Amazon. There's a lot of knockoffs. They are trying to clean it up, but you really don't know

Do you think if it was a fake they would put anything on the labelling to draw attention to that fact? Henkel do have a factory in India.

If you are going to fake it then you would copy the German label not the Indian.

Don't buy things through Amazon.

Simple, reliable, effective, long lasting, fast acting solution to your problem.

Right. Pretty sure this isn't fake (esp with the "genuine" sticker ;)), but there are copies out there. Bigger complaint is country of origin. And a lot of times the product you get doesn't match the picture on the site

Yes, but then what would i have to complain about ???

I do not like Amazon's insidious way of taking over the world, but when I occasionally buy something it is paid for
by my good lady wife as her credit card is linked to the Amazon account.

The way we deal with Prime is to start a free month trial for the free postage then cancel after 3 weeks and start
a new months Prime trial next time we buy. Amazon do not make it obvious how to cancel, but we now know.

Prime is like golden handcuffs. I can order one tube of toothpaste (or any other small item) and get it the next day with no shipping charges. You can also stream crappy movies

In UK Prime costs £7.99 per month. Using the month on month off method you can have golden handcuffs
with fast free delivery of toothpaste and crappy movies for free !

I've got sucked into the free Prime trial twice by accident. Thought once you'd had a free trial you couldn't have another, but I have. Have just paid for a second month as I've got hooked into a few TV series. Also bought a few small things that I wouldn't have bought if I'd have had to pay postage. Doubt I will keep paying much longer.

I been buying on Amazon for a few years now and have saved heaps of money, most of the items I buy has free delivery but something you got to watch out for are the postal cost on small things can cost more than the product, I brought my wife a lovely swing dress at a cost of $30 and free postal I have seen the same brand dress in shops when looking for the right dress at the time for $75 and the shop would have got it at trade price as well so just shows how things are marked up, I have also brought a 65" smart TV on a Black Friday special and free delivery to my front door for 1/2 price so the savings are there you just got to be smart in how you use Amazon and once ordered I have never waited more than 2 weeks for delivery even when its coming from OS.

I to once signed up for prime, but couldn't figure out how to get off it, for a long time.
Don't want to pay again, as some things I ordered didn't arrive, and Amazon took and overcharged me for some coffee that I paid way too much for.

I just wait 'til I have enough orders to qualify for free delivery. They usually quote 3-5 days, but many a time my order has arrived the following day.
