I have a few hundred more than listed, but at this point, who cares?

Not as many as I had planned but still room for a few hundred more before the season closes. Most of my runs are in the 50 to 70 mile range so I am 'pretty pleased' that I've been able to get the bike out on 20+ occasions, without fail, without incidents, without any oil leaks etc., etc. :)

We care Britfan ! We are interested ! I have a great fuel mileage report too. took a 220 mile round trip yesterday and got great gas mileage. Changes to my bike :
    1: removed saddle bags
    2: installed BMC Air filter
    3: installed CR9EIX plugs
4: back to stock gearing 18/50
    5: first leg steady 75-76 mph ( 80 indicated ) @ 4800 RPM = 52 MPG US Gallons
    6: second leg steady 67-68 mph (70 indicated) @ 4200 RPM = 55 MPG US Gallons

These are great mileage numbers , I am very happy . This make taking long trip much more achieveable. Ride those bikes! Let them be seen.

Those are fantastic numbers. Could be the combo of SBN pipes and #90 mapping, but I get from 39 to 44 mph depending on my riding. Are those the Iridiums? I'm using them and the bike is running well. I used to get 44 mph steady, but I doubt the Iridiums had much to do with the change. I also weigh 220lbs. so it could be my fat ass increasing fuel consumption.

My MPG hasn't changed for 40 odd years on around 50 different bikes. I fill the tank, and when it runs onto reserve (or nowadays a light comes on) I fill it up again and every time I get Many Pleasing Grins. Actually, I forgot about my H2 750. That gave me Many Pleasing Grins but bankrupted me in Spark Plugs and Underpants !.

Britfan I think your 090 is too rich. Try the SC [HASHTAG]#077[/HASHTAG] 0116 map , thats what I have now. AF1 can do it , just send in your ECU .

I had the #77 map, Tony. More than once because my dealership kept accidentally reinstalling it. The bike ran terribly. Hard starts, 2400 rpms when hot. Just awful. It runs well and starts well with 90. I'd rather give up a few miles per gallon. You and I have different pipes. Also, my plugs look mint.

    Tony,

I tried the 077 map on my 961 with SBN de-catted Dominator exhaust and it produced very poor starting, and cold idling, and several flat spots in the rpm range even when at operating temp.
The 090 map was much better, though still having cold start/idling issues, but far less significant than those of the 077 map.

However, back in late 2015 when I switched to the 090 map, the factory warned that the 090 and 091 maps were designed only for the Dominator models and would cause Commandos to run overly rich due to differences in airbox design between the two models.

This winter I hope to send my ecu to SC Delta to have them unlock it so my dyno guy can dial in the fueling in both the IAC and the main fuel map.

Not sure if you changed to the Bosch coils yet and at least the crank sensor, but those coils made a great difference in cold starting. The mapping moreso, but with those coils, the bike doesn't even crank. It just starts.

I won't try to sell you on it then. But did you try the latest Maps for the SC ECU the including the new BIN file that came out at the same time. 0116 ? I only ask this because some of the dealers didn't have it . Mine was loaded wrong , I didn't have a complete load. They can check for a match with the laptop. The MPG means a great deal to me because I do mostly highway driving . And when I am on a trip with the big bikes I have got to get 150 miles before refueling . But make no mistake it still pulls like a train. I have proven on my bike that I can access 3.5 gals and get to a gas station (plastic tank) . The way I am running now that number could be 170 miles. I am very happy :)

2k+ miles in her first 7 months I think I will semi-retire the CR for this season, let the Thrux take the best of what the rest of the year has to offer. I have lots of 'shed projects' on the go including putting my H-D back on the road so probably won't get to do too many bike miles anyway.

Updating mileage. I've got it running pretty good now, so should be putting miles on it regularly for a while.

Fantastic ride out on that day and knew that milestone was coming up, stopped within a couple of hundred yards and took a pic with Rockingham Raceway in the background. Suppose I should update the list as approx. 1234 miles now
