I finally have 6000 miles on my 961

Well unfortunately my mileage record wont be going any further. Not because the old girl is dead, because some one else will be riding her soon, I hope.
Nope haven't given up riding, in fact I have not turned my back on Norton either but come Monday 'Black Bess' will be sitting where the old girl lived and a whole new chapter of clocking up the miles on a new 961 Sport will begin. Obviously my name will be at the bottom of the pile but just show me some good weather and I will claw my way back up there.

Congrats on the purchase - the bike looks ‘the business!’

The journey starts again, but without the technical trials I suspect. It will be great to have another first hand account from a previous owner.

After our test ride at Oakmere we were discussing the changes they had made to the new bike and said you would have one in a heart beat well congratulations on your purchase.😀
Iam glad I made the upgrade and the owner of my old bike is well satisfied. Took wifey out the other day even she could tell the difference between the old and new let the good times roll.
 
Turned over another 1,000 miles digit. Haven't been riding the 961 so much lately. I've been spoiled by the new Aprilia I bought last year. But I'll still be putting miles on the 961 too.

Yep I am a danger to myself and every one else when I get near a keyboard . It's amazing I haven't started a third world war with my tapping's . I was trying to delete my name from the list and add it with 931 miles on further down. 🥴 :rolleyes:😄
