How to tell where anyone is with new layout?

I can't tell where anyone is anymore with the new layout. Am I missing something, I just can't remember everyone.

You can click on their name, but you have to do it for each poster; it's not there by default as before.

It is likely possible. I am also on another forum which switched to xenfolio some time ago and they have members join date, locations and post count under the avatar.
It depends on how much bandwidth you feel justified paying for.

I turned that option off as I thought that no-one would be interested to know. Maybe I should re-enable it. Its not a big deal. I will try and remember to do it later (on the weekend) if you want it back. Remind me if I forget.

I can't speak for the OP, but IMHO the requirement is to see where people reside in the info block under their avatar.
Therefore, when reading a thread you can see who is contributing, when they joined AND where they are located.

It was nickguzzi that mentioned the xenfolio. I always thought it was helpful to know where people are. Glad I brought it up, but I don't know how any of this stuff works. Yeah, I used to really like knowing where someone was and how much they posted. It kind of gives me a hint of what is going on with the poster. And would sometimes jog my memory for past info. Thanks.

I tried this and it was a problem because the address throws off the site design if its too long. If you click on the username you can then go to their profile to have a look.

I added the Joined date there.
