This is interesting if modified to reduce shock columns and increase lean angle to say 60 degrees. Any help to actually figure out something along these lines with mostly off the shelf item invited.

Other set up on my mind leaves rear planted flat but rest of the rig forward of rear suspension tilts. Could run a car tire then for endurance and puncture resistance. Also puts expensive engine last in line of impacts. I'm springing for Jim Schimdt camshaft this week, last major item to finish Peels engine. Where should I put it?

hobot - dead deer daily along commutes, many close passes, last pm 8 point bull buck just cleared space car hood was .5 sec later. Shock to see flash of muscle ripple in shoulders to rump as they launch blindly.

YES!!! Now your are talking Hobot!!! I still prefer a Gurney's bike (Alligator) or even something like the Craig Vetter scooter but the idea of a 3 wheeler could be fun!

I had their website link but the company (Defiant Scooter?) must had gone belly up!! I will ask Vetter next time I see him at a Hurricane meeting.

Oh my that Vetter scooter about melted my Buck Rodgers art deco tastes.
Just something about the stamped out tin toy torpedo shapes. I don't know what I want or what my best bet is that I can afford to build. A few days ago in cage about 30mph about to peel over into narrow drive way entrance thinking how nice a day it was with everyone else out riding, maybe I could stick with two wheels POW Buck leaps past a few yards ahead of cage. Me and others have been hit in sides of cars leaving pushed in doors to broken windows. If we had been going faster the deer would have missed.

Something that used the Norton frame would be easier to do but that still leaves pilot exposed to being knocked out saddle side ways. Last deer, me at 75 mph killed itself impacting bike just in front of R foot and then went under rear tire to launch bike in air. I looking as feet forward in cage seating as only option. Side car would have to have over head cage of some sort or half of me might stay on rig while other half twitches on road with most of a deer doing same.

Only want 4ft wide stance, engine in rear driving a planted car tire while all the rest of rig forward leans with turns. Don't know if that can be done w/o active leaning device which is more than I can or will take on. Body work-frame would have to be Stealth bomber faceted to deflect impacts from front and sides and even rear to some degree. Yes there are pu's and cars here dented in rear from deer blinding leaping at them after they'd just passed the dam deer.

Got engine - how will it travel?
