Live in Needham ma. Don't own one yet . But joined to educate myself and learn the do's and don't' before I buy something in the near future. My only toy at the moment is a 77 Toyota fj40. Hope to park a commando next to it some day . Cheers

Good luck with your search. The bad thing is values are going ever higher (good if you already own one). The good thing is, every part is available, as are upgrades, so no matter the condition of the bike you end up buying, you can still make a gem out of it.

Welcome  Join us Saturday if you have the time: http://nneno.org

Welcome, smart move to join, research/learn before buying... Think about what kind of ridding you'll want to do, 750's are more nimble and the 850's with the slightly different front end geometry are more stable at freeway speeds. Both are great. Enjoy.

Artie,
Welcome! You will find this an invaluable source of great information. Members will offer you both moral support and physical.
