having finnished Unclvin's resleeve kit i entered the post office , " America love" in my chirpy manner, I noticed a "Bit of a smirk" on his face..." State's eh?" Ok thats £18 .....He handed the parcel to a guy leaning against the shelf that was packed with Uncle Joes mint s.
Then dissapeared into the back yard. i was interested, and watched him stick the Lansdowne re-sleeve kit into a back pack and mount his trusty beast.
I was a bit surprised ,and asked the post manager what was the animal , "Not suer" he replied " Some have two humps some one"
Jeeves told me later Bactrian and Dromedary.
Post office's are now using a whole herd of Cammels to get freight to the U>S>A ...well its going to be quicker than Pan -Am .
On a more serious note...The post office tell me that parcels due to the US are looked at very carefully, infact so carefully some delays can be 10 weeks.
I bet the Dromedary is well on its way....Ps the latest update...the beast as BLOWN A HOOF :lol:
