Recently had one mirror on my 74 850 break off where the back plate attached to the stalk clamp bolt. I believe this to be an Emgo or other repro mirror as it is chrome not stainless. Lasted 9 yrs and 25k miles so can't really complain too much.
I have placed an order with Halcyon Classic Parts in UK for pair of replacements in stainless. I have their bar end type mirrors on my velocette and like the quality, but want to keep stalk mount mirrors on the Commando.
