H6024 in a Lucas 7" shell ?

I have found that a H6024 7" automotive hi/lo headlamp will fit and clip in the ring on the stock lucas Commando 7" headlamp. No costly conversion stuff. Splice in a standard 3 lug plug . Probably need to put a dab of RTV on each clip where it presses on the lamp boss for safety and you got a great sealed system with a perfect reflector drawing 45W. :lol:

I've done the sealed beam, but it seems like the light pattern isn't as focused as a motorcycle H4 reflector-type.

I found an Adjure H4-style lens online for about $10, use an Eastern Beaver relay kit, and a Raybrig H4 bulb, with power by Sparx 3-phase, and let me assure you, lightin' up the night is not an issue. Highly recommend any and all of these components.
