How atrocious are these ?

GS 500

Tripped over one dirt cheap , but it hasnt run for 3 years . low K's.

I see theyre about the weight of a 750 Bonne , and saw a black one
come out of a set of lights . Whizz Whizz crawl etc .
A SV250 did twice the T 120s revs per mph
and waited for rain to go before motorwaying at night so as to
avoid being road kill .

How useless would the Suzuki be two up with luggage ,
or do you just rev the snot out of it . Supposed to be 50 horse at 9500 .
The 50 horse Triton did 130 and was half the weight .

Do these handle like a blanc mange , or can you strop them down a dirt road no trouble .
Has a few minor scratches , several on L H Fairing . Are they a pig or whill it lift a wheel ?

Hardly a T 100 Daytona unfortunately , good at 90 two up on unsealed roads . The Tradgedy of it .

I've never ridden one , been curious about them before, however they go for stupid expensive money here in Japan.

Good ,
The old british rubbish is probab;y worth nothing over there .
I will send it to you , and you send me a few NORTONs . ;)

realised if it were 50 % more stroke , It'd be near T140 dimensions . But no room , looking at photos .
Amazed its a ' two valve ' . 90 Deg. crank , plus balance shafts . wondering if they can be discarded .

Tossing the old Ford V4 shaft gets em stropping along marvelously . The post 1970 ones . these were
96 x 66 , so the shortest stroke sucker about . Tourque . Full Throttle at 800 RPM confuses the oposition .

looks like it may be worth grabbing . Those old TX 500s weighed over 500 Lbs ! Wonders of modern tecnology .
Valve springs matched Tri Twin & Norton . The W&S spring sets . TWO for us Two Valve blokes in one pack .
