When you are inside a nitration house with a lot of nitroglycerine and you could be instantly vaporised, the thought that it might happen never enters your head. It is the same when you road race a motorcycle. It is difficult to visualise being dead. So I never worry about it. I just do what needs to be done to stay alive, and enjoy living.
Can you imagine what it would be like to just not be here anymore ? Only living people grieve. But I have never been dead to really know the truth. I have only one regret - it is about people with whom I should have talked, when they were alive.

Al, You'll get your chance to be dead. You'll still be in the dark about it though.

100% agree on the regret about not saying things to people before they died.
