I seem to be a bit out of touch when it comes to finding used parts for my next project
I'm looking for a back wheel amongst other parts for a 750/850 commando I want to build
Apart from autojumbles and ebay what dealers do people use these days?
Cheers

The NOC's website has a classified section, if that helps? I once got a second-hand Z-plate direct from the NOC shop, before the internet was so much of a thing.

I was out of the loop for 12 years until last year – things have changed! Back in the '70s there used to be a shop around Catford or Goose Green way (SE London) crammed with stuff ancient and modern – I remember getting a side stand for a C15 from there; and there was a similar place in Greenwich in the '80s where I got a complete GS550 engine that was every bit as good as they said it was, I needed it for a despatch bike, I'd worn out the original engine. But like much else places like that must I'm sure be long gone now. Good luck!

Ah That would have been All Bike Spares... but like most breakers they can only sell what they are offered and such insurance salvage as comes their way. Almost entirely Japanese.

try yeomans (google yeomans bike breakers wildmoor lane) sorry cant remember the rest of the address but they are in Worcester as far as i can remember . They advertise still in the classic bilge comic

Allbike spares in Greenwich are still going, but probably zero brit bike parts now.

Am not sure if they actually break anymore - they do however manufacture discs and stanchions . ABE is the same outfit

Old Bike Mart is probably a good place to look... just as disconcerting is the number of dealers who have gone .. I think the excellent Russels are the only ones left in London who sell Norton stuff.
