Ginger passed away yesterday at the age of 88.
He was one of the old school continental circus guys living in a caravan following the race meetings.
His best result was second in the 1970 World 500 Champs on a Kawasaki behind Agostini . Was also 3rd in the 1968 125 World Champs on a Bultaco.
He raced for many years in the NZ Classic Racing Register series and would line up with the rest of us to get his gear checked.
A good bloke.
