Flipping through an old INOA newsletter, I noticed some nice products advertised by George Scholtz: an oil filter base that went in the magneto blanking plate, and one piece cast rocker spindle covers. Is George still in business? I don't see his ad in the one new INOA newsletter or on the INOA website list of vendors. And from a search of the Access Norton archives produced no info either. If George is not in business, any suggestions on alternate suppliers of these items?

No George passed some time ago sorry. He didn't keep a lot of stock and spent he last years without legs. He was a very clever man, worked for the aircraft industry. Casting powdered S.S. is not an option for most of us. RIP George

I have the balance of Georges exhaust nut supply. The early hard ones not the later soft ones. I have considered doing another run of them if there is a demand. Jim

I'd potentially be interested in some Scholtz exhaust rings, and most definitely in some of his Rocker Spindle covers if any are available.
Thanks
Jeff

I got these off of Ebay from a guy in the phillipines. They are pretty nice, at $145 shipped. I added the banjo bolts and cleaned up the castings a bit. But all the hard work was done.

Dad has some JUST like those. I love them! Much, MUCH better than the fugly 'bubble' covers..

Any chance that someone has come across a set of the Scholtz rocker spindle covers that started this thread? If so, I'll take first crack at putting up my money to buy them.
Thanks
Jeff

Thanks for the info.
I'm not really looking for the finned covers.
Only interested in the Scholtz version or the Hemmings version.
If anyone comes across any, please let me know and I'll pony up the cash immediately.
Thanks
Jeff
