I had a video on my now defunct Youtube channel where Ken Kavanaugh discussed racing lines. Ken said 'there was the Geoff Duke line, and there was everybody elses' line'. When somebody cruises past you in a corner, it is probably normal to blame your own riding ability. However all motorcycles are not the same as each other, and to discover the truth about their handling, you probably need to stick your neck out. I did not know why a 500cc Manx Norton is faster than a 500cc Triton, until I rode a Manx. By the time I learned how my Seeley 850 handled, it was too late.
