hi Fairly new to the Access Norton site , i have a 1964 atlas scrambler which i love and is my bike of choice to ride, but with its small tank its fairly short range without a refill, i am currently in the throws of putting together a 1966 matchless g15cs mk2, i wonder if any one could give me a bit of advice with regard to, weather you can get a larger than the standard 2 gallon capacity tank or if anyone has modded another successfully to fit?

AMC made several tanks that will fit on the N15 frame.

The G15MkII has a fairly large tank, as do the earlier (pre-1967) G15CSRs - I think over 4 gallons - plenty of pictures on the web. CSRs were usually chrome and red. MkIIs were often painted.
The G80/P11 had an optional larger tank - about a gallon more than the standard. The dimensions on this over 3 gallon tank is about the same length length as the standard tank, but is about a couple inches wider and taller at the widest point

Earlier G80s had the tab on the back that bolted to the frame and the fuel cap that loosened at about three turns, as opposed to the rubber band and quick-release cap. The later tank as shown in the picture above is pretty rare. Both versions will fit on an N15 frame

thanks BiilT, I will look out for G80/CSR tanks on my next auto jumble, Cheers!
